Forbes magazine, in its international edition, has recognized Marqués de Murrieta as the best winery in Europe and the third best in the world in its ranking The World's 50 Best Wineries 2025.
To compile this list, the magazine considered numerous parameters such as the prestige of the wines, the historical significance of each winery, and the quality of its wine tourism offering.
Among the most valued aspects are the scores obtained by recent vintages according to international critics and the visitor satisfaction index reflected on platforms such as Tripadvisor or Google. The environmental and social commitment of each winery was also analyzed, including quality certifications and implemented sustainability measures.

"This extraordinary recognition fills us with pride and strengthens our commitment to excellence. Being considered one of the best wineries on the planet is an honor we share with everyone who is part of our history. We will continue working responsibly and tirelessly to carry the name of Rioja and Spain to the highest level," says Vicente Dalmau Cebrián-Sagarriga, president of Marqués de Murrieta.
"We receive this news with immense joy and humility, reaffirming our conviction that Spain is home to some of the best wines in the world," he added.
