Environmental Performance Report
The energy consumption monitoring and control systems implemented have been financed by the European Union in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, through the FEDER Operational Programme La Rioja 2014-2020.

In accordance with our Quality and Environmental Policy, and with the aim of complying with the requirements of the ISO 14001:2015 standard, we hereby inform you that:

Marqués de Murrieta, S.A. is committed to implementing the best available technology in the pursuit of a prosperous, efficient and sustainable future. The winery operates a photovoltaic park with 1,062 installed panels and a total capacity of 430 kW, which in 2025 represented an average self-consumption of 42% of the total energy consumed by the facilities. |

The remaining energy consumed has a 100% Renewable Guarantee of Origin. |

Electric vehicle charging stations with different power capacities are available for all visitors and employees, in order to promote clean and sustainable mobility. |

The winery maintains the Sustainable Wineries for Climate Protection (SWfCP) certification, which measures the winery’s performance in terms of comprehensive sustainability, based on four fundamental pillars: environmental, social, economic and governance. This certification ensures adaptation to the most demanding standards and further alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). |

The certification in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 14001:2015 standard was renewed in 2025 with AENOR. |

In 2025, the winery also obtained the Biosphere Sustainable certification. |

At Finca Ygay, which comprises 300 hectares of vineyards, herbicides are not used. |
It should also be noted that Marqués de Murrieta, S.A. carries out strict operational control of all identified environmental aspects, such as the consumption of raw materials, use of natural resources, external noise levels and waste generation, among others.
According to our SGI policy, and in order to comply with the requirements of the ISO 14001:2015 standard, we inform you that, at the close of the year 2025:

Agricultural diesel consumption has been reduced by 2.69%. |

Diesel A consumption has been reduced by 5.65%. |
| • |
The generation of plastic waste per litre of wine from the previous vintage has been reduced by 51.76%. |
| • |
Tonnes of CO₂ equivalent emitted into the atmosphere during 2025 have been reduced by 5.04%. |
| • |
All electricity supplied to the winery by the electricity retailer comes entirely from renewable sources. |
| • |
No environmental incidents have occurred. |
It should also be noted that Pazo de Barrantes S.A.:

Carries out exhaustive operational control of all environmental aspects of its activity. |

Maintains continuous monitoring and control of legal requirements and their compliance, developing actions that go beyond legal compliance. |

There have been no complaints, requests or sanctions from the authorities. |

During 2025, the Food Safety Management System was certified in accordance with FSSC 22000 v6. |
