Marqués de Murrieta has taken another step forward in its history of continuous evolution with its new headquarters in Madrid, which includes spacious facilities for the office team and a private space covering 1,000 m² in the heart of the Spanish capital's financial district, where wine culture, design, and luxury come together.
Casa Murrieta brings the essence of our Rioja and Rías Baixas wineries to Madrid, creating the ideal atmosphere in which to enjoy our wines in a unique space where architecture and interior design have played a decisive role under the direction of renowned interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán.
The social space, the star of this new headquarters, features a spectacular wine cellar, tasting room, dining room, private lounge, and a large landscaped courtyard designed by the landscaping studio Locus Landscape.
It will be the setting for tastings and presentations for all professionals linked to the historic winery around the world.
Casa Murrieta is a private arts and cultural center. Its spaces house an exclusive selection of artworks that run through its interconnected rooms, featuring works by artists such as Chillida, Alexander Calder, Ramon Enrich, Joan Miró, Pablo Palazuelo, and Antoni Tàpies.
The designer furniture surprises us with unique pieces such as a large Calacatta marble and rock crystal table, or a large mural inspired by the furrows of the Rioja land.
Casa Murrieta was born with the soul of Marqués de Murrieta and the vocation of becoming a meeting point between excellence, culture, and great wines.
