The Thyssen Museum and the Wine Wine Club have chosen Marquis de Murrieta Reserva 2015, to “dress” their bottle with a work by Van Gogh
Wine, like art, seeks to awaken the senses of those who enjoy it through balance and harmony. These have always been very close, since the sensitivity necessary to make a wine makes many elevate it to the category of art. For this reason, the Thyssen Museum and the Wine Wine Club have chosen Marquis de Murrieta to make a special and limited edition, “wearing” his Marquis de Murrieta Reserva 2015 with a masterpiece from the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum.
The label that covers Marquis de Murrieta Reserva 2015 in this collection is the work of Vincent Van Gogh "Les Vessenots en Auvers", a painting painted in 1890 that represents a rural landscape on the outskirts of Auvers-sur-Oise. This label was chosen by Vicente D. Cebria n-Sagarriga:
"This painting has an impressive light, it radiates life. That life is what we try to transfer every day to our project of almost 170 years of history, injecting it with new and modern sap”
Marqués de Murrieta Reserva 2015 (D.O.Ca. Rioja) and Les Vessenots in Auvers (Van Gogh, 1890). Marqués de Murrieta Reserva 2015 is a deep, complex and, above all, very elegant Rioja. The latest harvest of a classic Spanish wine, with a long and delicate aging of 18 months in American oak barrels. Created with the best grapes from Finca Ygay, it is the emblem of the century-old Riojan house.” (VinoSelection)
