Marqués de Murrieta winery has been present once again this year at one of the most important fairs in the world, ProWein, the annual wine event held in Germany. Marqués de Murrieta has come to Prowein celebrating its 165th anniversary as the founder of the Rioja wines, becoming therefore the ambassador wine cellar of the Spanish wines abroad.
Located in the Spanish pavilion, Marqués de Murrieta and his perfect sister, the Galician winery Pazo de Barrantes, had once again their own stand, decorated in oak wood and in the corporate colors of the winery: orange and brown. The stand, which stood out the 165th anniversary of the winery, had a pleasant meeting room, which has held about 50 meetings with distributors, importers, airlines, international companies of the sector and communication agencies, all of them with very good results.
The fair has lasted three days, and has beaten all previous records of visits, reaching a total of 58,500 visitors, from 130 nationalities. Many of them have passed by Marqués de Murrieta’s stand, where they have been able to enjoy all their wines, and taste their new vintages: in just three days, more than 100 bottles of Marqués de Murrieta and Pazo de Barrantes have been consumed. Visitors from all over the world have been able to enjoy for three days the origin of Rioja wines and the excellence of its two Albariños.
